B Good Livestock Company is a family owned cattle and goat operation located in Creston, Iowa. Owned by Tim, Karen and Tyler Loudon, the family focuses on breeding and marketing outstanding show cattle and show goats throughout the midwest. Their farm in southwest Iowa includes a cow herd of more than 100 cows, and over 100 Boer does with a focus on the show wether business.
The Loudons have a lifetime of experience in the cattle business, in fact, that is how they met. The Loudons first got in the cattle business with Shorthorn cattle, and have expanded to include Simmental genetics, and Maine Anjou cattle. Tim and Karen have strong ties to the Shorthorn breed and have built a solid foundtion for the B Good prefix, which is known for functional and profitable cattle that can work in the showring or the pasture. These cattle have earned the Loudons a reputation as one of Iowa's top seedstock breeders. Tyler Loudon is just starting his show career, but his schedule is already full! Look for him on the road at various junior national, state open, and breed shows.
Over the last 10 years, the Loudons have also expanded into operating a show goat program. And, they have applied their formula for success in the purebred cattle business to the goat business. The fundamentals are the same: raising high quality show goats with structural soundness, muscling, balance, and eye appeal. |
